CO2 filling station

Maintaining foodstuffs at low temperatures (either frozen -21°C or fresh +3C°) is a challenge when disconnected from a mains supply or a reefer. TKT and Dohmeyer provide a dry ice based system that makes the TKT insulated container fully autonomous.

Application

Dohmeyer has developed, with its partner TKT Gassysteme GmbH, an innovative transport system for TKT insulated containers. These insulated containers are equipped with an insert that contains CO2 snow with very high density. Up to 22kg of snow guarantees an uninterrupted cold chain for chilled (0°C .. 4°C) and frozen (-18°C .. -20°C) products.
