Our History
Dohmeyer NV was established in Ninove (Belgium) in 2003. Though to be fair, our roots run all the way back to 1955 - to an engineering company in Rijswijk, The Netherlands- owned and operated by Mr. M. Udo and Mrs Christa Dohmeyer.
Building on that storied history, today, we are now one of the most experienced and respected cryogenic equipment constructors in the Europe. With two locations in Belgium and Italy, we've continued to build on our reputation of providing quality engineering services and total cryogenic solutions.
Cryogenic focus
Cryogenics is a hot topic for our employees, each with an average of more than 15 years of experience. And although their cryogenic knowledge is unsurpassed, they continually train using the latest technology to ensure your job is done right and on time.
Our current customer base in cryogenic components and cryogenic machinery includes more than 2000 applications in hospitals, military bases and industrial process plants.
Our equipment and components are home to many of the industry's leading companies that share our commitment to meet the challenges of ever-changing demands. With an eye on all the latest technologies, our aim is to consistently offer exclusive the highest quality equipment.
Board
The Management Board oversees the work of the Managing Director, staff and committees and the implementation of the company’s policy. Dohmeyer is proud to have an active Board of Directors guiding its present and future activities.

Integrated R&D
At Dohmeyer facilities in Belgium and Italy, manufacturing and R&D take place in the same environment, both using and contributing to a vast database, to more accurately respond to market needs with technically advanced products. The market for cryogenic applications and ultra low temperatures has undergone tremendous diversification in recent years, with new demands on precision and performance. In response, Dohmeyer constantly seeks new materials and technologies to improve the quality of its equipment and components. Of equal importance is the maintenance and improvement of quality control systems at every step.
All of this is performed in-house, which enables the creation of a vast know how that enables direct access to specific information at a moment's notice. This enables us to remain highly responsive to the needs of its customers, while retaining the ability to react on specific demands. As a result, the right products are delivered according to plan, on time, with the right specifications and performance.
Along with a reputation for providing advanced products of the highest quality, Dohmeyer’s integrated R&D and manufacturing system has also earned a strong reputation for reliability.
Government approved Research Centre
After an intensive selection procedure, Dohmeyer has been approved a official Research Institute, by the French Ministry of Education and Research. Read more ...
Faclilties
Dohmeyer’s corporate headquarter, with a factory on-site, is located in Melle (Gent), close to Brussels, the centre of Europe. Dohmeyer’s other factory is located to the north of Italy (Milano), close the the Milano Malpensa MPX airport.
